First impression RED, I want to scroll down to get that off my screen. Then after a second it calms down and I can see the negative of what I assume is you in the background of the header. while artisticaly pleasing red does not do good on computer screens but I like the negative can you darken the red a little toward the burgendy so the red is not so glaring?
then I see the my networks and I wonder why they do not have icons for the networks?
Then I looked through a few pages and you have a good eye. Some of those pictures are really crisp and show a thing I want to know more about, like the flux project. Are those ear horns? whats with the ladder? festival of some sort?
Then I noticed that you put your personal phone number? That seems weird but I hope that you used google talk for a digital number that transfers to your line so that you don't just have your phone number out there.
The first question is, why are you not SSL protected on a security website?
I would kill the tag cloud as well. I do not use them because my heat maps show no one clicks on mine. YMMV but I stopped using them long ago.
Why is your page title in all caps? All caps is 40% harder to read in general so usually not a good idea to use all caps.
You should also use the truncation feature in wordpress. It will allow you to show more titles before you have to scroll down. It also allows you to track clicks to see what people are interested in content-wise
Then I click on store. Now I see battery backups, and computer which has nothing in it and amazon all over. I immediately wonder what you are doing with a unrelated store hooked into your site.
I then click on your check list. I see a lot of common computer use tips and tricks but what does battery backup have to so with the main theme of your site, is it for the amazon store? It looks like you are trying to talk from a windows 7 environment but you do not say that explicitly. You also cover s super wide range of abilities who are you writing for? You have simple things and the you talk about NAT translation, something the average user has no idea about and has no way to find out how to do from your site.
You have a ton of content but no categories. Make it easy for me to find the content I want and I will come back.
Your links page has mention of finding vmware in your store but I am taken to another site and not given the opportunity to buy from you. This is also to be said about your security list. If you promote a rfid scanner sleeve and you have a amazon affiliate store point me to it in a new window.
The first thing I see is a huge blue screen full of text. I am immediatly forced to scan this field to figure out what its trying to force my eyes to find. I would see if reworking that into a drop down would be less visually taxing.
I love how you set up your logo. I would make the blues darker to highten the effect.
can all the social media links in the upper right hand corner be on one line? It honestly looks like you tried to add a separate table row for the google plus so it is now a separate cell group. try adding it to the same tr as the facebook and twitter td's.
Try adding a css hover to your buttons
Why so blue? everything is blue with no contrasting colors so you may want to either downplay that or add something besides blue. it is a very good color but that is just so much of it I am not sure what is important and what is a button and what is an ad.
Everything also seems very big. More and more information sites have at least one side bar so seeing a site without it seems weird. just food for thought on that no problem either way.
So i clicked on my state to see what happens and I now see a start here button. I was taken aback by that. what do I need to start? why isnt the different color text express service a link (its blue)? I am here for a do it yourself feature because you bill it as a how to but the first thing I see is a couple ads and what appears to be a button to take me to a page to buy a service. It feels real bait and switchy. So move the service button lower on the page and have the how to be at the top. Move the google ads to either a small box on the left margin so they are still first seen (we read left to right top to bottom) or to the bottom of the page to remove the perceived pressure. I dislike a page that seems like little content and many ads it feels like a sales pitch not a information page. Plus if they do read to the bottom yo have no button there for them to click so easy is always better. I would personally rework the whole page to be here is the multi-step process to do it yourself at the top and a smaller we can do it for you area at the bottom.
I would also change the top link Questions? to actually say forums. a question? link would make me think that there is a FAQ or a email form to fill out not a community link.
are the options to the right of the slider supposed to be links? They are not.
Your products information and description are a mix or totally German.
Your navigation seems to work correctly.
you should post the minimum order in the short description for each item to make it more clear before the customer gets to your full product page.
You site runs just a little slow on the page changes but I think that might be the amount of pictures on your site.
I have had my site up for a while now and I do not seem to get many conversions. I am thinking it might be that I am to immersed in the site so with that in mind I need some help. Here are the things I need to get some honest feedback on
