Excellent idea. In my opinion, I would send the gift certs to your customers 2 to 4 weeks after you perform your service. This is a good amount of time to remind them of the excellent service you provided. Besides, this give you a good lead time to purchase your gift certificates after you already made the profits (as opposed to buying them beforehand)
That`s an interesting point you mentioned about a separate site for blogs. Right now our site is nearly done with an integrated blog section built in. I`ve never thought about the cross-referencing if you have a couple different sites. Now since we have an integrated blog on our site (soon to be launched) I`m wondering how I can work in another blog site as well to "cross-link" the two.
I`ve used the different versions of Outlook for about 10 years now and comfortable with it. However for the past 3-4 months I`ve been using Thunderbird to give it a shot. I`m still up in the air whether or not I like it. I still like Outlook (look and feel) better (most likely because I`m used to it). However, I love the fact that I can set up a separate inbox for each email account I have with Thunderbird. I hated having all emails go to one inbox in Outlook.
Does Outlook 2007 allow you to set up a separate inbox and email profile for each of your email accounts (POP or IMAP) all under one profile (like in Thunderbird)? I`m not referring to doing rules to move emails to certain folders.
If not, how do you personally use Outlook to handle different business email accounts (i..e. info, sales, customer service etc etc)
I`m starting to look into using street teams to further market and get the word out. I was curious if anyone here uses them or created one for their company?
If so, did you have to use contracts of any sort with each street team member (so that you`re not liable for any of their actions)? My intention is just for voluntary help by those that support us to help get the name out there. It would be similar to your typical street team you see with bands etc. I see some have thousands of members.
That`s great info. Thanks. Now I have a baseline in which to create a marketing schedule per se. Here`s something I would add to my plan and perhaps may help you and others out. I`m not sure if you`ve done any testing/research on which strategy works best on what days. What I plan on doing is say to follow your plan and have my partner do the opposite. For example, I do Monday through Sunday strategies in that order. I`ll have my partner start with Sunday and work backwards. Did that make sense? Have you tried anything like that before and if so, how did it work out for you?
Thanks again for the info!
