I feel like you really need to write a to-do list, it really doesn't take long and would make your day feel much more structured, allow you to work on priority items and get what you need done. Without a to-do list I find myself jumping around all day and at the end of the day feeling like I have not accomplished much and at the end of 12+ hour days the worst feeling is thinking I have not accomplished anything.
I hear so much about social media but how do you really get started on social media? Is it just a case of pestering friends to like/follow/+1 you and hope it expands out from there or is it reliant on people already using your website. I am looking for a plan to start marketing my start up when I launch fully but I don't have a full plan of action yet as I'm not 100% sure on the best way to approach this, whether I should just focus on banging out social media content and hoping for it to get found or what.
Would be great to hear peoples thoughts on this.
I have to agree with online video marketing, it seems to be getting more and more a part of search and I have had good success with that.
Just wanted to give you a heads up about a great seed funding program, every week they invest $5k each in 2 businesses, one is selected by popular vote and one is selected by the Start Garden team.
If you get the $5k you can go on and get $20k and then up to $500k if you prove traction. Note it's in Grand Rapids, MI and while you don't need to be in the area you do need to go there to give an update after 60-90 days.
I have no affiliation with them but am trying to get funded by them as well and thought it was a great place to share.
My project is at http://startgarden.com/ideas/detail/spycrowd1 if you like it please help me out and endorse me as well.
