Working on developing a property management company, assisting in real estate purchasing, loan processing, but moreso feasibility of projects. I realize the importance of having several "balls" in the air, but then narrowing all of your energy and focus into the most profitable and salient business.
I currently manage a few properties for an investor. I am curious about advice on garnering more leads for a vacation property (winter based) on a very low budget. VRBO has currently returned a large amount of leads (and bookings), Craigslist is mostly spam, as 1/10 leads are legitimate.
My thought is to build a website for the property / properties, and do a blitz SEO / SEM campaign, which I have some experience in.
Besides the website, any thoughts from property managers / investors?
I actually no longer work with Design My Idea nor Cord Order, though I wish them luck. What I like though about Tiger Taco is the "edgy" (or whatever adjective you like) marketing strategy you pursue.
Thank you for all the replies.
"a simple taco maker" I love it (I`m checking out your sites)! I have had in my own experience (outside of this product) had success with cold-calling but always with the same variables. Intensely frustrating, somewhat time-deficient (depending on your product and your opportunity cost of the time in cold-calling) and a bit of luck.
I will be starting a blog, submitting it all over the place, and garnering interest.
We have received a couple oversea`s bids for production and will soon be developing it in mass quantity.
We`ll see where it goes :)
No code is missing on StatsCounter or Google Analytics, even down to our article pages and case studies.
More thoughts? The site is setup through standard HTML linking, we are looking at moving to php, but that has not been activated as of yet.
The difference in counted stats is somewhat minimal, and we don`t use our traffic stats to sell advertising, but, for purposes of marketing and tracking it would be great to solve.DesignMyIdea6/19/2008 4:21 PM
