Over a decade of experience as an onair guest and working with manufacturers on QVC. If you want the inside track on the worlds largest and most successful shopping channel give us a call. We'd love to talk to you and see if we can help you grow your business on QVC.
I'm curious to know where this was and who this was? Did you go to Studio Park in West Chester or was this a rep group setting up a "go see" forum and looking for product. Did an actual QVC buyer stop by to talk to you or a rep. The truth is that until you get your product in front of the catagorically correct QVC buyer you don't have any real indication of a chance on QVC. I have no idea what the rating scale is you mentioned unless it was a QVCSprout forum. The way it works is that you get your product infront of the the buyer for your category and they decide if they want your item, what they are willing to pay for it and you decide if you can make the deal happen. However, be warned that in the food category, you must be able to drop ship in most instances, and there are other expenses you need to factor in, before you give your final cost. Otherwise, you could be making a deal that will be costing you money. If you want more information I'd be glad to talk with you. Diana
As an onair guest host and rep for the last 12 years, there are so many things you should be aware of and know before you move forward. QVC is a glorious place, but there is much to know when it comes to managing your way through this home shopping giant. We have helped many people small and large market their products on QVC. Although some people have posted that you can post on your own, many people who have tried to do it on their own will tell you it easier said than done. You can easily get lost in all the details or never get any response at all. It's a network and it helps to have an inside connection. Many people claim to be QVC reps, but the truth is there are only about a dozen plus companies that are truely "live-in" reps. What does that mean, it means that many people claim to sell into QVC, but don't have the connections, exposure or network to make the process easy for you. We specialize ONLY in QVC and so we are on location meeting with buyers or onair every single week and even everyday at times. I suggest that anyone interested seriously consider a "household" rep and interview a few of us. Make a decision on the best partnership for you and your business. There is so much to share and many risks, but to the risk taker goes the rewards! Diana
