I mean those folders and piles of papers in your office? My business is to provide file management both physical and ont he computer. I haven`t done market research besides the fact that I have been in some MAJOR companies and was in charge of getting together what was "supposed" to be a filing system...it was a mess.
Is there a business for it? Would you need someone to come in and tame some things?
What I find amazing is that this show is like a little club house for entrepreneurs. Both very successful companies and idols (AL Gore,Puff Daddy, Russell Simmons, Rachel Ray) and companies on the rise always plug the fact that they watch the Big Idea. It is inspiring, enriching and motivating. There is no better show for anyone who wants to ditch the cubicle. If you are not a regular watcher...please check your local cabel listings. You will get hooked. It will be like a drug. I can hardly contain myself to watch the whole show. I immediately just jump up and run to the computer to toil with some ideas. It is on CNBC. It is wonderful.
The overall best way is to get a web designer, then work with them, if you can to get a hosting package. Good web designers have places they can refer you to. Check out their website and hire them based on the design/quality of their own site.
Now, is you would like to design it yourself them find hosting like it says in your post then you may want to try web design software. Microsoft Frontpage, Web Easy, Ready-Site Pro, Web.Com Site Builder/Hosting. You can design a site on your system and then find hosting. These software programs also have hosting packages or a site to refer you.
True. It is really more like a brochure esp. when you are selling a service. There are millions of businesses and millions of websites that suck! Some websites do the biz more harm than good. Getting out is better but...well, that requires so much more. No matter what business you are in, you are really in the business of marketing your business! And the more I research starting a biz and things of that nature, I find that most of us have issues with marketing. It`s tricky but no matter what author/book I read about the subject, they all tell you the same thing: GET OUT THERE!
