I suggest you go to blogs that appear to have a large following and leave constructive comments. This will lead them back to your site. Once on your site, have an email harvesting device that allows you to capture their email for follow-up promotions.
Write articles for some of these blogs. This has rewarded me with some nice customers. Essentially, what you are doing is building your "expert profile". Over time you will see your personal brand grow.
