What a beautiful sunny Sunday here in the NE! I can hear the birds singing so magically.During a meeting with a colleague, I was asked about the milestones I was developing for the business I am about to give "birth" to. Although I had not thought about securing graphic and web pros, atty, cpa, ins agt, bus bank acct, as milestones, the colleague`s inquiry provoked thought. So, now I am in the process of setting attainable milestones for my business and would appreciate you sharing yours. Here it goes:Locate, develop, and retain superior relationships with clients, for- & N-F-P orgs, and vendorsAdd commercial property Give back to the community through sponsorship and volunteerismMake the business` brand identifiable beyond its immediate areaThat is what I have for now. It is an ongoing process. How about you?
TGIF, All!Surely we have all read the commentary posted within the SuN community on creating a successful eBay business and have (and continue to) appreciated the generosity of Brandi Ramos and Inflatable Madness` Kevin Harmon contribution(s).I came across the following article in my "news briefing" activity regarding secrets to eBay success that you might enjoy.Have a safe and wonderful weekend
Hags:Great opportunity for you. Congrats. Found the article that may, perhaps, prepare you for the onslaught of success for your business.http://money.cnn.com/2006/07/26/smbusine ss/oprah.favorites/i ndex.htmBest of luck!
The definition of my business is defined as a dream coming to life with the potential to succeed through hard work and vision. It is defined this way because this is exactly what came to mind upon reading your post. However, I do not and will not look at this venture as "small" because I`m just starting out or have little to no overhead. My aspiration is to be a successful business first. Any growth in operation as a result of paying my dues, etc. is welcome, but is not the focus. Meaning, I am not in this to take over the world overnight, so a slow start works for me. Rather, I have a sincere love and passion for celebrating life and that is driving me to have BIG dreams and BIG energies to bring those dreams to fruition. Condemnation becomes reality if one ignores or does not seek and implement versatility/change/flexibility/diversity, etc. Business size neither defines or nor condemns one`s vision.Just me 2 cents
