My husband (Joe) and I have owned this business for over 14 years and are now looking to make it grow. We`re launching our new website next month and the changes are exciting. The consultants at our local SBDC have been an inspiration!
We sell econimical vinyl and high-end cotton dust covers for equipment (office, medical, recording, enginerring) We have three main customer groups -
Manuafacturers who want to give a cover to each customer.
Schools looking to proect equipment in their technology room - "hands off"
Stores selling Flat Panel TVs to sell (drop-ship) to their customers
Good possibilties are those small "quality based" stores selling large TV stores, local reps selling medical equipment or copiers, school technology directors.
We make dust covers - the high end 100% heavy weight cotton type - that sometimes last longer than the equipment. We`re close to launching a new website that offers artwork on the monitor covers, too. We also sell economical vinyl covers.

Yes, a small percentage of people want dust covers; however we want to be in a postion to serve those who do wnat them! Basically, if a piece of equipment costs over $500, the owner might want a cover.
