One of the things I struggle with is building and managing content for my niche industry. What are the suggestions out there in terms of building, buying, and managing the content specific to what you want to deliver? If some content may be rather generic in nature, is there a way to license the content for mere educatoinal type purposes for your audience?
Thoughts on content delivery are greatly appreciated !
Where and what are some of the best "tools" and marketing "lists" for marketing our solutions to those who fit a number of profiles. Professionals who are or have been in financial services, tax prep, mortgage industry, new - retirees, or even insurance would be the most likely to utilize our solutions. Are there any specific research firms or organizations who specialize in such contacts that I can leverage? Please advise.
I am in the early stages of a Financial Services business. Has anyone had any luck using or can recommend an "appointment" setting type service? Basically, someone to screen prospective clients and set up phone appointments. Feedback on this is greatly appreciated...
I am looking at buying an existing business and have seen balance sheet and income statements. I of course will be seeing tax returns soon, but what is the best way to truly understand what type of "income" the current owner is pulling out of the business on an annual basis. They are showing little net income and some owners salaries, but not close to the metrics which are considered industry average.
I am having a bit of a time getting my mind around a new business acquisition. What is rule of thumb for amount of capital to put down on an existing business? Owner is willing to finance over 5+ years at very competitive rate and I do have capital available.
What is the typical amount of time one should be willing or able to finance and how much should one expect to pull out of the business at the end of the day (take care of fixed expenses at home). I want to make sure I cover my debt I incur, cover debt needs, and take care of fixed expenses at home as my salary will be taking a hit.
