You may have noticed from the above title that I have a diverse background.

I have over fifteen years experience in the warehousing field for instance. During this time, I worked my way up from an entry-level warehouseman to running four small warehouses. I also implemented several new procedures. One of these procedures returned over $30,000 to a company the first year it was in use. I was even able to cut operating cost at these facilities.

I am also a freelance writer. I started in the usual way by taking various writing courses. These include courses in resume' formatting, budgeting for small organizations and journalism. I took various courses in creative writing as well. These came in handy when I wrote my police reports.

I also drafted employee job descriptions. For business going for an ISO rating, job descriptions are an absolute necessity.

After fifteen years working for other people though, I struck out on my own. My first project was an adult education series for a local community college. I’ve also developed one and two day workshops on various topics. These topics include coping with workplace violence, customer returns, hiring contract employees, safety and security issues.
