| Description: | Greetings all in the startup nation community, my business has recently just been started and trying to develop legs so I can quit my jobs. I am a passionate musician who is confident in his abilities and communicates very well. Life`s curve balls has made me struggle in life and has brought me to come to realize an idea I would like to try and take as far is it can go. In a nutshell, my business helps bring music teachers who desire private music students together through various marketing mediums, so music teachers would not have to take on second or third jobs to support themselves. This service focuses on bringing teahers and students together under convenient circumstances whether it be time, place, or day. This is a business where each party in the transaction wins, the music teacher will get the opportunity to share their passions without having to pay a membership or a certain percentage of every lessons they give like a music store, the music student gets their personal ideal teacher that best suits their situation, and for me I get the satisfaction of knowing I am helping my colleagues create a life for themselves in music, bringing music into the lives of people, and making some profit in the process. The music industry does not have a service like mine. As a college student, I would have jumped at the opportunity if someone offered to help me find a career in music. I have been nicknamed the 1-800 dental of music as well as the music pimp. I need ideas to help this develop a leg to stand on it`s own. Any advice would be appreciated from the startup community. I have read Rich and Jeff`s book, and has given me a great start. |
