Small Business Owners often struggle to build a team -- either through lack of financial capital or simply by not knowing who to hire. I`d like to know from the community what is the #1 preference for  team members you use?

    Thanks for your help!

I visited your web sites and while you look like a nice person, and while there is indeed some level of sincerity and a slightly genuine feel in your marketing, I was - frankly - very turned off the "get rich quick" feel of the copywriting and the general "magic bullet for success" presentation of your materials. So I`m not inclined to participate in your survey and I`m certainly not inclined to fill out any forms on your web site. StartupNation is not a "target market", it is not a pool of prospects, it is not a place to work an angle.

In general, talking about how you spent a day at the spa while asking someone for money ... Well, it`s an interesting approach. I`m already pretty against something talking the second it loads, but you really lost me when you started talking about your spa day while your little underlings were doing the work for you.

To get respect in my book, you have to earn respect - which means you have to get your hands dirty too.

As you took my response to your poll as some kind of jealousy (and apparently decided to make yourself seem less spammy by deleting your website URLS from your post?), let me just add that true entrepreneurs have a passion for what they are doing and a desire to make the world a better place. For them, getting paid is simply the end result of doing what they love. Additionally, great leaders earn their respect and lead by example - they don`t bark out orders to their employees and then spend a day at the Four Seasons Spa  while their employees make money for them selling another get-rich-doing-nothing scheme. My model for business is working as a true team in which my employees have a stake in the success of the business and where they feel like they really do make a difference, not the Enron model of living the high life while the employees lose their entire pensions. Working in your business, and doing something that you love for a living, is not a bad thing. Perhaps you should consider what the true meaning of entrepreneurship is before coming to a forum for entrepreneurs with your passive income advertising?

I`m not sure I understand how you have assumed so much about me and my intentions through my post and my website. I have worked my butt off in my business and I reward myself accordingly. My team is also rewarded accordingly. Just because I`ve been able to accomplish a lot and visit the Four Seasons doesn`t mean I`m not a hard worker. My team LOVES working with me and they tell me all the time how much they benefit from being a part of the team.

I also don`t think it`s appropriate to blast someone in this forum. It doesn`t say a lot about the poster. I`m sorry my information doesn`t resonate with you...obviously my model isn`t appropriate for you. If my previous post  offended you, I apologize. It`s not my intention to offend anyone -- I`m excited about what I`ve created and everyone who has learned from me raves and has put new ideas into action has doubled or tripled their revenue. I don`t see how that is a problem.

I`m not in the mood for a pissing match so let`s just drop it. You don`t get it and that`s OK with me.

Headline:Help entrepreneurs create consistent 6 & 7 figure businesses
Description:I`m an ex-corporate cog now living my lifestyle dream. After 12+ years in project management and business development for a Fortune 500 company, I started my own business.

I learned the hard way that just having passion isn`t enough. I`ve taken my Master`s Degree in Organizational Management and the entrepreneur "school of hard knocks" and developed a proven system to help entrepreneur`s stay focused on their high payoff activities.

Today I help busy entrepreneurs discover new strategies to generate consistent 6 & 7 figures while creating time for what`s really important.

I specialize in helping entrepreneurs develop the inner and outer game of a leader, delegate their low payoff activities and access powerful peer groups to catapult upwards through mastermind groups.

When I`m not mentoring my clients, speaking at conferences, doing radio interviews or creating educational materials, you can find me on the beach in Cannes, France or enjoying a relaxing weekend at my favorite spa at the Marriott Desert Hot Springs. I love to golf, do yoga and workout, spend time with my family and most of all -- enjoy my freedom.
