José M. Baena (Valencia, October 1983), holds a degree in Industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a postgraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Braunschweig university of technology, Germany. His postgraduate dissertation was developed between, Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V., a German company focused on laser technologies and the material science department from Buenos Aires University, Argentina. At the same time he also attended a postgraduate course on Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Afterwards Jose Manuel came back to Spain and worked at the Biomechanical Institute on Valencia, in health care, working on international projects related to customized design of prosthesis and medical devices. At the end of this period José Manuel was awarded the Fernando Alonso program by Cajastur to study MSc Motorsport engineering at Oxford Brookes University, UK.
