I have recently opened a merchant account on Amazon and found out that it want a UPC Code to list my products. I did not require one when I was selling on ebay but for amzon it's a compulsory requirement. I have some UPC Codes which I had bought few days ago, can I use these for listing my products? Please advise.

Yes you can use UPC Codes which you had bought earlier to list your products on Amazon the only requirement is to have valid barcodes which should not have been used for other products. If you think that your products can be listed without amazon barcodes then there is a form for it just ask amazon to exempt your products.

Indeed, you'll be able to use the UPC codes you've purchased for your listed products. Here is a link to an on-going threat on Amazon Seller Forums to give you further information.
