The page title is another special place because the contents of the tag usually gets displayed in most search engines, (including Google). While it is not mandatory per the HTML specification to write something in the tag (i.e. you can leave it empty and the title bar of the browser will read “Untitled Document” or similar), for SEO purposes you may not want to leave the tag empty; instead, you'd better write the the page title in it.

How many keyword we can put there in title tag?

You can put a few in.

I always get my main keyword and secondary into the index/homepage title and description.  I'll use my subpages to target other keywords.

A nice little trick is to put articles on your website that their only purpose is to target a certain keyword.

So you will put something like example.com/keyword7.html  and optimize the page and article to be for whatever your keyword 7 is :)    Obviously you'll swap out "example.com" for your domain, and keyword7 for the keyword you're targeting :)

There is No Doubt that Keywords in Title Tag covers the most important part of SEO as from it Search Engines Bots get to know , what the page is all about and what it is offering. SO it is important to use keywords therein to make sure Search Engines give you credit for it to rank you higher than your competitors.

It should be in sentence covering major keywords, should not be stuffed with keywords.

Its character limit is 65-70 at most.
