Hi, I'm in the process of creating content for an ecommerce site I will launch. I plan on paying a web designer to build the site. Is it possible to pay the web designer with a combination of cash and ownership of my company, or does that sort of thing not happen? I want to finance its creation in this way because it seems safer than just handing over my business model and content to a designer who could just take my work and do it for themselves. I feel this would be more unlikely if they were given part ownership in the contract. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
