You need to find the person who makes the decisions you are selling. (this should be easy for you to do because you worked for the company)
If you are looking to perfect the pitch or make yourself better at sales I suggest you pick up The Sales Bible by Jeffery Gitometer (five bucks on half.com) its extremely easy to read and it helped me.
