| Description: | About me: Well, I`m a fiery, fiesty sort of gal with wheels that are always turning. I come from a family of entrepreneurs. Everyone, and I do mean everyone I can think of in my family has always operated their own business. Different ones at that! Grandpa had a Feed Mill. Grandma had a Real Estate Company. Dad owns a general contracting firm. Mom owns a specialty painting firm. Aunt and Uncle own a coffee company. Sister is a real estate mogul. Husband is a photographer (go figure that I would marry someone with an entrepreneurial spirit as well).
History: Attended college and studied History and International Politics, intent on Law School or teaching at the university level, but got trapped working in another area I love - Construction. Boy, do I love architecture from the inside out.
Creation of Défilage Skincare and Cosmetics: The construction industry, as interesting as it is, burned me out in less than ten years. I wanted the antithesis of the contracting "man`s world" but something I was very much interested in - GLAMOUR! After two years of research, research, and oh, did I mention research, Défilage Skincare and Cosmetics was born in 2004.
Family: A cutie pie husband and four beautiful children (yes, I said 4 and they make me just as crazy as you might think, and oh, do I love them so much). Three boys (Age 14,8,1) and my baby girl (Age 12).
Goals: I do not aspire to trillions, billions or to live like the Trumps. I want to balance my love of family with my need to grow an intelligent business with integrity.
