Just curious to see what people are converting and what is a "good" rate. IE: making a sale, visiting a specific page, whatever your goal of the site is.

I know I convert at a higher rate when it`s coming from direct advertising (Adwords) than I do general traffic. That is expected I`m sure,  and can give a good indication that my targeting is setup somewhat properly. Any advice to increase this number and have the website become a better "closer"?

Who else uses Google Analytics to track conversion rates from Adwords and all other traffic sources?

Really? This entire forum is about sharing information, everyone has a different answer for everything. So you don`t want to know people experiences just b/c all the answers are different? Come on Dale.

I would like to spark a conversation on this because maybe out of the "thousand" answers, I can choose one, see how they implemented the flow of their site, and be able to apply it to my business.

But I guess we all have nothing to learn from each other.
