Hello to all you fine folks out here under the SUN!

As some of you might already know, I am really FIRED UP about GreenBeans!

So in the interest of customer satisfaction, I am hoping that you smart people out here might give me some feedback here on how it`s going so far.

Many of the elements are still in their preliminary phase, and some big changes will be rolling out soon, but your feedback is critical!

    Here is the site: www.getyourgreenbeans.com

If you have signed up, please feel free to tell me what helped you to make that decision.

If you haven`t, PLEASE tell me WHY NOT?

I am ready for the good , the bad, and the ugly, so please:

    LET ME HAVE IT!

Thanks so much for your help!

I look forward to hearing what you have to say!

No compelling reason to sign up, the methodology is insufficient.  Why do I sign up?  What`s in it for me?  The great consumer question.  It looks sort of like something I might like to be involved in if I am a "green" consumer but....

You need to solve the "but".  Get a picture or two, tell me what good comes of it, then ask me to sign up.  Take a look at the Defenders of Wildlife or igive site for a better pitch.

Good luck, especially if this is some sort of MLM.

Nopo, not an MLM but just the fact that you suspect it is makes me realize that I have a LOT of work to do in conveying the message of GreenBeans.

Thank you very much for this advice, and i will be sure to check out the references you provided.

I think part of the problem is that in my effort to convey how GreenBeans benefits consumers, small business, green business and charities, I need to do a better job of explaining what why and how to whom.

I really appreciate this feedback, and I hope that one day soon, I can change your mind!

    Yes, I admit it.
Although I am a devoted mommy of 3 amazing kids, I have been known to sit on, drop, spill coffee on and even loose them in my purse!

As parents (and grandparents, and aunts, uncles, family and friends...) we strive to hold on a bit longer, documenting each stage of our little charges, with portraits, candid photos and the like, reproducing their delicious mugs on everything from the mousepads on our desks to the cell phones in our pockets. But just as they grow and the photos become outdated, so does the stuff we are plastering their shining smiles all over.

So my question to you folks out here under the SuN is, how crazy are you about putting personalized photos on gadgets?  Would you prefer to choose from various artwork? Will you hold onto that item just a little bit longer because of it?Would it change your decision to buy/not buy something? Does being a parent make you more inclined to do so, or would you sit on your cat just the same...?

Please help answer these burning questions!

This is a "really depends" answer because I am not a picture on stuff kinda person.

If DD gives me something and it has her picture on it, I love it.

Would I buy something because I could put her picture on it -- No.  Would I NOT buy something because I could not put her picture on it -- No.

If her picture was on something, I would never through it away.

    Hope this helps.

I am kinda guilty of this. . .

Ok, I liked some stuff when my son was little. We have the usual posters, calendars, buttons, puzzle (my favorite), etc, etc.

Now, we have our first grandbaby (almost 4 mo old) and this weekend, at a craft show I bought 2 cloth books, with his name and date on them, a couple of weeks ago we bought personalized Lullaby CD`s with his name inbedded in the songs and the CD`s personalized for him, this weekend I also bought 6 knit hats, all personalized with graphics that fit each person and their name on the hat for my son and daughter in law, grandson, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. . .

So, I never thought about this before, am I over the top, or headed that way???? I`m a sucker for personalization. . .LOL

Description
Headline:Grow GreenBeans
Description:My husband and I have operated in wholesale wireless fulfillment for close to 10 years.

Around the time I joined Startup Nation, I started working on a BIG idea. What if we could really change the world? A little bit at a time? Corny? Maybe. But absolutely serious. So now set to the task of making this vision a reality.

It has been quite an adventure growing GreenBeans so far, and I feel like the journey has just begun! But with each step I am learning and growing from talented mentors, entrepreneurs, artists, thinkers, activists, technicians and innovators. I couldn`t ask for a better education!

The goal is to ignite
recycling and eco-friendly initiatives, empower small business and support fundraising efforts by charities and organizations.

There is a great movement through awareness of the damage we are doing to our planet, a movement toward energy efficiency, recycling and conservation. The average consumer does not have the time nor inclination to research each purchase to see if it is “green”, to analyze their homes, spending habits, everyday decisions to see if they are “green” and although most people are sincerely concerned about the issues facing our planet today, they are often overwhelmed by the enormity of it all, and left in a virtual paralysis of “well really, what can I do about it…” We can simplify these habits, making Green products easily identifiable, and exciting to purchase and rewarding to return to.

We can create a new retail environment in which it is exciting and fun to contribute toward sustainability, community enrichment and small business development!

Our first product line of restored & recharged cell phone batteries can be found at www.greenbeansrewards.com and are hitting counters at retail stores across the East Coast this summer.

Buy Green. Save Big. Give Back. Get your GreenBeans today!
