Are you getting ready to open or expand your warehouse?  Maybe I can help.  I've spent over fifteen years in the warehousing / purchasing field.  During this time, I ran or helped reorganize five warehousing operations.

I started in the warehousing field as an entry level warehouseman with a small company.  Later, I became senior lead in a large mining warehouse.  I handled new hire and safety training during this time.  I was responsible for purchasing stock and correcting receiving / shipping errors as well.  I even implemented a new shipping procedure that returned over $30,000 to the company in the first year it was in use.

I went on to run three other small warehousing facilities.  My duties included customer relations, expediting orders, purchasing and inventory control. 

I was also inventory manager for a chain of wedding chapels.  While in this position, I came up with a creative way to sell off our slow moving and old inventory items.  I proposed bundling these items into gift packs to be sold at the grand opening of our new facilities.  The plan worked and we were able to sell off most of the out dated inventory.
