What I find is that I really most love working with biz owners, helping them with their marketing plans, helping to motivate them and talk about the value of good biz plans. I am a business matchmaker in Michigan, which means I spend a lot of time connecting business with one another, making introduction and helping to nurture relationships. My career is currently with a non profit, I run a website dedicated to Michigan`s women business owners. We are the only online directory of Michigan`s wbo`s and we are growing everyday. There are over 4,000 women registered on the site, their businesses vary from service to manufacturing and then some. My job is to manage the technical side of the site, the relationship building, sponsorship and overall performance of the site. I love my work.
My latest hobby has been pursuing voice over work. I am recording a demo, I have head shots and scripts, now just need the gig (smile). I am willing to do projects at an reduced cost write now as I am building my portfolio. |
