My nightclub is going to be in a suburb of seattle with about 75,000 residents. Many of whom are financially capable and many more who are college students. Its going to be modern (Im going to spend alot on decor) and theres going to be 2 stages. One on the dance floor with bands and dj`s. The other is a smaller stage in the VIP lounge where ill have comedians perform.
Theres going to be a balcony overlooking puget sound and Im looking into how much it would cost vs the benefits of renovating the roof to expand the vip section or just have another dance floor.
Target age group is 18-30. Loud modern music and some killer lights (not disco and strobe but constant colors that light up the walls/cealing). Im going to be promoting the club mostly myself and a few friends and maybe a professional club promoter or 2.
And finally im going to be working 12-14 hours a day for the first year or two to make damn sure my business is the one running the block.

If there are any other arising entrepreneurs looking to get into the nightclub business get in touch with me, Im going to be going to university of washington for a business degree first and saving up about 80k of my own money so it may be a few years before I really get into the business but i have good ideas and im always looking for more information on nightclubs.
