I am nearly 50 years old and, except for my tools, kayak, and bicycle in the garage, I have all of my worldly possessions in my bedroom in a house I share with a long-time friend, and I like it that way – a couple of years ago I got rid of everything else! I’ve learned that I don’t need much, so I don’t want much.

I am interested in business for two reasons: on the practical side, to help provide for my niece and nephews and, yes, to strengthen my retirement fund; on the esoteric side, to do it (this particular business) because this can be done, this should be done, and I can do it. If LLG (www.LocalLittleGuys.org) merely helps provide for myself and the people I love, that would be great; if (I mean, when!) it makes enough profit to fold into other projects such as eco-green businesses, that will be wonderful.

My motto: Live Small, Think Big.

I’ve had some great successes and adventures in my life – as well as plenty of “learning experiences” – and now, in the goals area of my life, this is pretty much all that matters.
