There seams to be some confussion about what Im asking in the pole so I will edit this.

    1) Charge sellers on a monthly bases of $9.50 for the use of the program and have no banner at the top.....or

2)Give the program away for free to sellers and make money by selling banners ads at the top of the program?

Ok, I have a marketing program for people that sell on the word wide web that is diffrent from others out there. My first thought was chargeing a monthley fee for the use of the program. The more I think about it though I am starting to lean towards giving the program away for free and putting in a banner system at the top and selling banner ads. Please look over the screen shots and let me know what way you would go with this.

Also yes the web site is a work in progress, have posted in for others to look at, have gotten some hard crits. on it but I needed that. The wording and everything is being gone over as we speak. There are two pictures of the program on the How Repeet Works page.

The screen shots is from one of my beta testers that sells on Ebay but the program can be used for any type of E-commerce site or even used as a virtual business card.

    Hi,

I`m not too sure about your question, but to introduce it (it`s new right?) it could be a great idea giving it away for free. Let the people see what it`s all about, and if the program is really handy, a price around $10/month is not bad at all, if you can increase your visibility a lot.

I do have some suggestions regarding your website:
    - On the HOME (frontpage) you describe the "product features", but without describing the product at all. Think about how fast people navigate on the web, and how little chance this gives you in getting their attention. I would re-phrase the whole frontpage, to describe very briefly what the program does, and why it can be useful. I guess most people would put "cutting edge" "easy to use" "returns results", because who would wanna buy something that was old, hard to use and didn`t return results?
    - You have some mis-spelling on the "threw" instead of "through". I would make sure that everything is spelled correctly on the site, so it looks top-notch.

I hope you can use this advice, and I think the program looks interesting. Good luck with the project :-)

    /Malte

Can`t say that I`m in your target market, so I can`t evaluate how effective this might be.

I would suggest, though, that you clean up the inconsistent capitalization and spelling on your web page. I found these errors quite distracting.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the feed back on what needs to be worked on in the web site and as stated above that is being gone over now by people that can spell LOL. I`m a programer and did not pay much attention to my english class like I should have.

    1. Basicly which page holds your attention long enough to read about our product.

    2. Which one explains our product the best

    3. Which one looks the best

    4. Ideas to improve either one

I like the second one better, but I think the best way to know for sure is to do some A/B testing with Google Website Optimizer. That will allow you to test and see which gets the better conversions. Testing and monitoring the results is the absolute best way to know which ad copy is most effective.

Neither.  It looks like another one of those scams plastered all over the internet.  If I saw your page as is, I`d hit the back button so fast, I wouldn`t even be able to give you a general idea of what you`re trying to sell.

That said, why not do a page that is clean, and has a few testimonials of your product from satisfied customers with a back-link to their site so consumers know you`re legit?  Some FAQ would also be nice to see so they can compare your product with the competition.  Then have another page available for them to order.

Hmmm got to admit it this is the first time I have heard this comes off as a scam....I think that is a hard factor to get past when it comes to software that benefits people that sell on the web. As far as the lay out goes I have been working on this with several people from start up and other design web sites to come up with the look of the web site. Also I have been listening to pod cast after pod cast on here and trying to put into effect what they say. The main items in the pod cast have been.

    1. Each sentance less then 15 words
    2. less then 7 lines per paragrah
    3. one action item per line
    4. one idea per sentence
    5. Express not impress
    6. shorter words are better
    7. Whats in it for the consumer
    8. Strong begining

I have tried to put all of the above items into effect for my web site but yet it comes across as a scam.

Would love some feedback on how to get a point across about software in the first 9 seconds of reading and not come across as if your scamming someone. Guess for now I will scrap this and go back to the drawing bord and forums and see were this went wrong.

    Thanks for the input
    Robert

Description:The concept of Return Customer Software started four years ago when I was selling on Ebay. One thing I noticed is how fast Ebay was growing. Seams like a good thing that is unless your a seller! As Ebay grows millions more people put there items up for sale. I sat down four years ago and started thinking how I was going to get people to find me and not all the other listenings.

Thats breifly how Return Customer Software got started. Through alot of triles and erros, Alot of time writing and rewriting code I came up with a program that would allow me to get my buyers back.

AS I was writing Return Customer Software alot of other people I know that sell on Ebay started takeing an interest in the program. These lucky people became my beta testers and had to put up with my frustrations. Through it all though we have developed a top of the line program that is easy to use that can bring your customers back as well as bring you new customers.
