| Headline: | Helping Millions of People A.R.K. -- Awaken to Spirit, Realize their Potential and Know how to Co-create their Ultimate Destiny! |
| Description: | As a former disaster relief expert and a Community Economic Development (CED) specialist, I share Bucky Fuller's vision of and mission for the "betterment of 100% of humanity". The field of CED includes principles and practices of Self-help, Empowerment and Capacity Building. One of my present areas of focus is the Expanding the Circle of Success campaign to provide 100 million dollars worth of development training resources over the next 10 years to and through a network of local non-profit CED Empowerment Resource Centers as described at www.ultimatesuccesspuzzle.com. The objectives are to foster community, entrepreneurship, infopreneurship and help create new jobs, social entrepreneurship and cause-oriented companies. The vision and mission are quite similar to that of StartUpNation with more of a not-for-profit approach as demonstrated in the Strategic Marketing Matrix TM for launching the Campaign in Michigan www.ultimatesuccesspuzzle.com/Matrix.htm The Centers would coproduce an ongoing series of development training programs on successful living skills for the 21st Century including Mark Victor Hansen, Robert Allen and some of the other initial 50 recipients of the Ultimate Destiny Hall of Fame Award program (www.ultimatedestinyhalloffameaward.com ) What I have noticed in 30+ years as a disaster relief and community economic development specialist is that things have to get as bad as possible before people notice and begin to care. Then the opportunity for improvement becomes possible. When I worked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Detroit in 1975/76, it was considered a national disaster. While there, I received the highest cash award ever paid a HUD employee for a computer system modification that saved an estimated 300 million dollars. Here is a link to an article from Computer World Magazine news.google.com/newspapers?id=keEuAAAAIBAJ&sjid=kE0DAAAAIBAJ&pg=1854,2856268 When I watched Governor Grandholm’s State of the State address a few months ago, I was impressed with the many positive developments throughout Michigan. Recently I learned of the several hundred million dollars allocated by HUD to help communities address the causes of blight and another 100 million donated by private foundations to foster entrepreneurship and the “New Metro Economy.” I believe the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan now have the potential to evolve from a “national economic disaster” into an “international success story”. Through fostering the realization of the ultimate potential inherent in its citizens, businesses, non-profit organizations and communities, the city and state have the potential to become an international model oh how a shared vision, creative problem solving and more sustainable community approaches can transform and revitalize an area. To help manifest that positive future vision, a few associates and I have just launched Expanding the Circle of Success. It is a campaign to help provide 100 million dollars worth of development training resources over the next 10 years to and through non-profit Community Economic Development Empowerment Resource Centers. The Campaign includes a Strategic Implementation Matrix™ for Establishing A Network of Community Economic Development (CED) and Empowerment Resource Centers to Help Create and Save Jobs as described at www.ultimatesuccesspuzzle.com. The Centers, based on 40 years of experience, would provide resources for self-help, empowerment, capacity building, entrepreneurship and infopreneurship. The primary objectives are to enable individuals, organizations and communities to realize more of their potential and expand their capacity to help solve social, economic and environmental challenges. In 30 years of experience with development training companies, we have discovered that they usually only target the top 10% to13% of the corporate market. We have developed community empowerment programs and resource centers that reached and served the rest of the 87% of the population. We have co-created award-winning programs for Community Development Corporations, United Ways and Public Housing Authorities. In addition, we have produced development training programs for up to, 1,800 residents in a county of less than 100,000 with world-class authors and trainers such as Norman Vincent Peale, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen, Bonnie St. John, etc. (www.candoresourcecenter.com ) The one-page Strategic Implementation Matrix includes: 500,000 potential local sponsors of the proposed national network; potential funding sources; 16 major topics for training and technical assistance that would be provided; and 8 core proposed initiatives that would facilitate the expanded acquisition and application of successful living skills that would lead to creation of new businesses and jobs. These 8 strategies foster “mega-successful living skills for the 21st Century” including: Infopreneurship: Providing Mentoring, Training and Consulting Services on Creating Intellectual Properties. Providing Mentoring and Consulting Services in Publishing, Internet Marketing, etc. Providing Cooperative Printing, Publishing, and Multi-media Production Resources Providing training in Micro-Enterprise Development, Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise/Entrepreneurship for not-for-profit organizations. Providing Technical Assistance in Obtaining Equity Capital, Grants and Donations Providing local ETMS™ Empowerment Training Mentoring Systems™ Providing technical assistance for creating local CAN DO! Empowerment Resource Centers and Programs (www.candoresourcecenter.com) Providing 24 X 7 online access to the Ultimate Destiny University for Successful Living training, mentoring and coaching programs(including business management skills such as leadership, team building, effective communication, creative thinking and problem solving, visioning and strategic planning, etc.) We have already decided to launch these programs in Michigan as stated above. We would be happy to offer them in conjunction with StartUpNation to support manifestation of our shared vision for a New Detroit and revitalized State of Michigan. All of the programs and products from Ultimate Destinyland are offered on a Pay What It's Worth To You basis as decribed at www.paywhatitsworthtoyou.com and in this YouTube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=76wJqxmCWZA In addition to our non-profit organizations, we also have equity and revenue participation opportunities available. Accredited Investors are invited to review our Investment Marketing Memorandum. |
