I was enjoying browsing your site that I forgot why I was there...

I would have liked to see a less-busy entry page explaining what your site is trying to do.  You could have a members-only entry page to bypass the "welcome, here`s what we do" page.  The reason is that I had some difficulty figuring out what the purpose of the site is just from the home page.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your comments. We have been in the process of planning a new home page and this should be live by the end of next week. Our aim is to make the layout a lot more simple and provide a thorough explanation of what we are seeking to achieve. As you pointed out, we will have a version for registered and non registered users.

Hopefully you will find the new homepage an improvement, so please let us know what you think next week.

Regards,

Will

Hi Will,

Congrats on a great start! Visually your site is very inviting...bright colors, video, etc. I agree that there should be a page that explains the core purpose of the site, but I think I understand the gist by looking at the page you have. Overall it could be more precise. I look forward to seeing the new home page.

God Bless,

The page is much too busy.  Since people generally read from left to right, I would recommend putting the "about" box on the left side, a little larger and putting the video clip on the right, sized down.  It isn`t very clear exactly how this site/service helps business owners until you get down into the finer print under the header material.  Switching these two things around will bring the message of the "who are we" to the center stage instead of looking like an afterthought that was placed down along the righthand side.

Under the logo, the slogo is much too small.  I have to squint to make out "helping businesses succeed"

Here is an article that may help you as you modify your website.  ARTICLE.  Pay special attention to points 9 and 10.

Let me know if I can help,

Willmiller

I did it again.  What is it with your site that captivates my attention?  I don`t know what it is, but keep on doing it.  You are likely to be a success.  Yes, I like the changes to your home page.  Your site`s purpose is much more clear.

Finish the site and get busy with the offline marketing to get some traction.
