I started an LLC in michigan late in 2008. Since I incorporated so late in the year, my 2008 earnings are being claimed on my 2009 tax forms.
Now my question lies in the fact that I had expenses in 2008, after incorporation, that I would like to write off on my 2009 tax forms. Can I do this?
