It is so frustrating when people steal content and even more frustrating when they outrank you for it! Google is trying pretty hard to combat this. Last year they did the “Panda” update to get rid of scraper sites and the like, and they have released a few tweaks to that algorithm update. Panda 3.4 just rolled out over the weekend, so hopefully it will go along way from discouraging thieves.

I forget the name of it, but there are some programs you can put on your site that will automatically insert your url in the copied text if somebody goes to right click and copy the text that you have on your page.

It’s a way of having a better chance that the original source is cited if you text is replicated elsewhere…
