ABC’s Shark Tank is Casting Again! More StartupNation Members in the Spotlight?

Some of you StartupNation folks have already appeared on Shark Tank and you know the exposure (and possibly money) it can bring you.

Well, Shark Tank is back.

The producers of the ABC reality series are on a nationwide search to discover the next successful – and possibly wealthy – entrepreneurs, inventors, businesspersons, dreamers, promoters, creators and innovators. In each episode, budding entrepreneurs are given the unprecedented chance to make their business dreams come true.

Whether you are just an idea, a start up, or already operating successfully and looking to expand, if you feel you have a lucrative business/idea and could use financial backing then “Shark Tank” is just the show for you. Casting is looking for aspiring entrepreneurs who can pitch their breakthrough business concepts, products, properties and services to moguls in hopes of landing investment funds. If selected, five self-made, brilliant, but tough investors (the Sharks) could be willing to part with their own hard-earned cash and give you the funding you need to jumpstart your idea. But the Sharks aren’t just out to invest; they too have a goal — to own a piece of your next big idea. Who are the Sharks? Real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, “infomercial” industry pioneer Kevin Harrington, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion icon Daymond John, and financial expert Kevin O’Leary. And in season 2, successful businessman and comedian Jeff Foxworthy will join the panel for 3 episodes.

Your business idea should be top-notch and something the Sharks will really want to sink their teeth into and might even spark a bidding war between them. Who knows – you could be the fortunate entrepreneur who gets the Sharks to reveal the true level of their interest and bid up the price of your investment!

Apply now for your chance to enter the “Shark Tank” and see if your idea is good enough for a Shark investment. Email them at SharkTankCasting@yahoo.com. Be sure to include your name, age, contact info, a recent photo, and a brief description of your idea.

You can also apply by attending their Los Angeles Open Call. This is your opportunity to meet face to face with the Shark Tank Casting Teams so come prepared to wow and dazzle them with your product/business/idea. Be advised that security may check your bag and you are responsible for your own parking. They do not validate.

Any questions, call them at 310-244-3745.

Good luck.

    Hi team

Unable to make it for Fridays meet & greet, wish I could. I could use the exposure of powerful people to help get me going. No $$$ for Advertizing or marketing the product I developed. Patent to be issued in October 2010. I just need a break. Below is a snippet of what I developed.

Legacy Cards are compact and sealed keepsakes innovatively designed to conveniently carry the cremains of a loved one with you…in a wallet, purse or pocket. Similar in appearance to traditional prayer cards, Legacy Cards are customized to feature a personalized photograph on the front and a special verse or prayer to commemorate the deceased on the back. The internal cell will be filled with cremated remains by you or your local funeral director and sealed for protection. Applicable for both human & pet cremains

I recall looking into appearing on “Shark Tank”. First they have a hundred rules you have to agree to. Secondly, I could find nothing about them paying (or who pays) your travel expenses to be on their show.
