		<description>Much of the advice I received in the early part of this decade was to buy a house. I kept meeting loan officers, and real estate brokers who just wanted to put me in a house(for commissions no doubt).

I hesitated because I did not have a savings. Even when they said "you dont need money" I backed off. It just didn't make sense.

Instead I saved so that I would have a resource if something bad happened. It was the best thing I have ever done. I am now hearing financial experts saying "perhaps owning a home isn't the best way to position your financials." 

Today - cash is KING. Pay cash, use credit sparingly and save whatever and whenever you can.
