This is an interesting blog because I wonder with the current credit market if more franchises will move in the direction of financing their franchisees. I have been looking into many different finance options for a franchise and within the last year I have noticed that many franchises are doing this. I was looking into a fitness franchise at www.illuminategym.com and they are also offering help with the acquisition of gym equipment for future franchisees because a lot of qualified entrepreneurs just can't get the financing from banks in this rough economy. I think this could be good for franchisees like myself but I wonder if this process is good for the franchisors like Marco's Pizza and illuminate gym. It sounds kind of risky to me...
