Thank you for the ideas! It's always helpful to see what other people are doing and it stimulates my own creative thinking. One email marketing idea that has been working well for us is to run a contest. By giving away some of our products, we can use the opportunity to highlight a new product our readers might not know about or remind them of some of our best-sellers. When we run these contests, we definitely get a lot more people to sign up for our e-newsletters, drive traffic to our site and blog, and ultimately sell more product.

So many people are into the stimulating the economy thing. It's almost as bad as fast food fish sandwiches during lent.

But whatever works, it's nice to see companies cutting their prices to make customers happy!

Idea #6 - Back to my "helping the roommate" line of thinking. Try asking friends, customers or even suppliers if they have suggestions of fun offers for you to bring customers in the door. They are likely to have a fresh perspective on your business, then it's up to you to refine them and make them work.
