I remember when Zappo’s CEO used Twitter to solve a customer service issue and it was really powerful. WHile some of these .coms don’t have traditional manufacturing tours, they do have that .com mystique that would be cool for customers to see “behind the scenes.”

Those sorts of clips really help add to the experience of doing business with an entity. They inspire a personal connection and loyalty.

Just blogging, tweeting and staying transparent and having some fun with it like Zappos is a pretty great way to connect with tons of people at once who are interested in your company!
