I was recently featured in the march '09 GQ magazine themed "The 10 Most Stylish Men in America" after wearing clothing made by my company, Keith Lloyd Couture, literally after walking into a photo shoot for GQ. I was leaving a bank and they saw me, ran to me and said we love that look. Do you mind being in this shoot? That was a good, very lucky day! :)

Thanks for the post. It's reassuring to say the least. What other tips to you give for SEO?

"How lucky"? Pretty darn lucky and even more thankful for when that reporter does smile upon a small company like us because we know they have to take a chance and fight to get their story ideas into "print". ... the best we can do is make sure we are thar (and open to being spun in whatever way the writer feels is best for their audience) ... we're not interested in someone just dropping in our release (that is nice for massive hits but doesn't read like a story) but rather who cares enough about what they do to make an effort to "own the story" and that means they are bringing a lot to the table ... rambling here, but then the "luck" is real and equally so is creating your own luck when it comes to being there and not cramming what you want and need into someone you don't respect. Be patient and thankful always for anyone caring enough to write one word about you/your company/product because it's not a right or their job but something better. Have fun.
