The Dreaded Holiday Party! Monday Morning Memoir

This is always a difficult one.  Every year no mater what business I’m in, the holiday party is always drapped in a delima.  Do you invite their spouse/significant other? Do you have an open bar or cash bar? do you rent a private room or have it at your office?  We have done it all.  Biggest mistake out of all of these options was the open bar.  I’ve never seen more people “over the top” in such a short time period.  We had fun but a lawyer could have had a field day with us.  This year we are trying the “no spouse”, cash bar party.  I’ll let you know how it turns out.

You are so right! It always amazes me that people who are so accomplished and professional 364 days out of the year, blow it at one office party.
