Inspire People to Have Fun-Monday Morning Memoir 11/17/08
Work can be fun! How many times have you tried to get people enthusiastic about their job? We are in the midst of moving from a small office to a much larger space. In this new space the management team will have small offices. Each member was asked to choose a theme for their office based on their childhood hero. We are going to paint one color wall in each office based upon their hero and then add posters and themed trinkits to the office(i.e. James Bond, Speedracer, The Hulk etc.). Every member of the team is extremely enthusiastic about “telling” their story through these images. This has been one of the most positive personalizations of the work environment that I have ever been involved in. If you’ve tried something like this please share.

If it had been like that at any of my old jobs, I probably never would have launched my own business
In other words: that’s absolutely awesome!

Childhood hero theme seems quite good. It reminds me mine also. I used to draw their picture also. I was kind of freak about their comics books.

Lorne,
That’s an exceptional idea.
Will there be space for an additional health and life advisor at your new office location?
Just emailed my resume to Dori - a friend recommended I check out your website for a possible employment opportunity. Hope to talk to you soon.

That sounds good. I’m available to interview whenever you’re ready. I’m accustomed to the “sales floor” atmosphere as I spent a year in sales/recruiting at Robert Half International before going off on my own in the recruiting business.
