Do veterans have an edge as entrepreneurs?

A StartupNation community member, Marsha, recently posted in our forums that she’s compiling feedback from veterans who’ve taken the path of owning a business to determine what special skills and abilities having military experience brings to entrepreneurship.
I think this is a very worthy endeavor, which Marsha is also going to turn into a book on the subject.
Please provide your feedback by visiting this forum thread. It will be a fascinating study, and one that should give some promise to people returning from the Gulf and entering back into our economy.
