New StartupNation.com Homepage & Global Navigation on the way

StartupNation.com users have been telling us what they want and we’ve been listening.

Now you shall receive! The new StartupNation.com is days away from being introduced, including improved navigation!!

Here’s a smattering of some of the requests StartupNation regular users have made:

“Give me a great sense of the huge amount of stuff available without overwhelming me.”

“Show us fresh new stuff every day.”

“Let us login or create a free member profile on the homepage. Oh, and do that on every page in case I decide to login or register from another page.”

“Guide us through the site with a global navigation that appears on every page on the site.”

Well, you’ll be glad to know, we’ve been hard at work and have something to show for it – the new StartupNation.com look, feel, and functionality.

A big thanks goes to all of you who participated in surveys and usability testing, sent in unsolicited feedback and recommendations, and helped us give you more of what you want and need for success as entrepreneurs.

    This is looking great! I like the Login/Logout button so that I know if I’m currently logged in.

    It would be great to also have a pulldown menu to search a specific area of the site quickly. It could go next to the main search box.

    Like this: Search_____________ in "dropdown menu" (then have the advanced choice as well)

    Dropdown menu choices could be

    "entire site"
    "podcasts"
    "member profiles"
    "forums"
    "marketplace"
