Connecting The Dots

The answers are often within us. That’s not to say you don’t have to work hard, research and struggle through, but your gut instincts can be the key to your success. I was reminded of that when I read Steve Jobs’ commencement speech at Stanford a few weeks ago. If you haven’t read it or heard it, take a few minutes to soak it in now.
When things go wrong, it often turns out to be for the best. Following your instincts can lead you in the right direction, even when it may not appear to be the way on the surface. I am a firm believer in following your heart, believing in yourself and believing in others.

This was a great speech, thanks for sharing it with us. I certainly have felt what Steve is discussing here.
Another fabulous speech was given this year by one of my favorite authors, David Foster Wallace. Nothing specific to entrepreneurship, but its subject is a life lesson that everyone can apply:
