There is little on the home page for search engines to read..... see here.

So, you should think about changing your menu to a text based CSS menu or at least add Alt image tags to the menu images. And adding some content on your home page.

While the menu item is shown with a green highlight when you go to the page, it would be nice to have a mouse over effect on the menu.  It is a little more user friendly - shows users where they are (where their mouse is) on the web page.

Thanks for the responses.  Roland, we will definitely beef up the home page and talk to our web guys about the rest.  And thanks slowcookermate, I appreciate it.

Great idea, cool site, and certainly visually explanatory. Roland`s points cover most of what you can do to make it more "searchable," but other than that, it comes down to the hard grind now of getting out there and visible. :-)

Y`know, although for Kathy and me, an Amazon store isn`t yet cost-effective, I think that your product would do very well on Amazon. Take a look at how to become a seller there, and go from there.

My suspicion is that with your product in one of their stores, it`ll get highlighted a lot faster and put in front of more people involved with books.

Thanks Craig.  It`s funny, I was just looking into that today.  I appreciate the advice.

Great concept.  I saw your photos and thought that I was looking at a couple of high-school students starting an enterprise.

SEO tip - this would make a great Christmas gift for a book lover, say so on your homepage and you may see some new search hits from people looking for the last-minute gift.
