So, now that Valentine`s Day is right around the corner, anyone doing anything special for the big day?

I swear t`God...I really and truly heard this last night (13th) on the radio!

"This Valentine`s Day, why not do something really special and sign an organ donor card! Give your loved one that special gift of security."

ROFL!!! I can just picture it, "Hi Honey...Happy Valentine`s Day! Guess what I got you? My liver, a lung, my heart, a couple of eyeballs, and some muscle tissue and veins. Isn`t that fantastic? I was gonna spring for some adult stem cells, but figured we could do that on our anniversary!"

Good Grief! LOL!!

Ok, I took the really easy way, got him scratch off lottery cards (which he loves) and he won a whopping $3. . .

I didn`t get him anything and I don`t plan on giving him any organs. I need all of them.

I think having a romantic dinner is nice and works for me.

I sent special people Valentines that were fingerpainted by my itty bitty sweetheart.  I do believe in being an organ donor, but not while I`m alive . . .

and I plan on being alive for a very, very, very long time.

I`d say I hope to live a  very long time, but I try to make today count in case I get hit by a bus tomorrow.

Learned a great lesson (actually several) from my oldest son, who was a practicing Buddhist for quite some time.

He paraphrased a Buddhist scholar who said most of us live our lives like we`re rehearsing for a play that will never be staged.

Does that have anything to do with the sound of one hand clapping?
