Good day all!

Just a question (looking for more free education). Has anyone used the amazon.com marketplace?

I just found out today they have a setup which seems to me to be somewhere between craigslist and ebay.

In your experience is the service worth the fee`s?

Thanks in advance.

We`ve been thinking about this for a year. Seems that you get huge visibility with Amazon, but the fees are a bit hard to swallow, for us anyway. I think they`re around 15% of the final sale?

For now, we have cheaper options with eBay and so forth, so we`re still just thinking about Amazon.

Amazon`s Pro Merchant acct charges 15% of the total sale (including shipping and handling), on top of the 39.99 a month fee for use of the service -- but the good news is, there are no activation or cancellation fees, and you can quit at any time.  All this assume you`re going to be posting items they already have in their warehouses, fulfillment of your own inventory is a separate agreement.  They have all the info available online

I also have not used the service, but find the model intriguing.

Good luck!

I`ve been researching this as well, but have no definite conclusions as of yet. It does seem interesting, though.
