I am trying to acquire a restaurant business. It is a well known establishment in an area that is doing better off than most parts of the country in these tough economical times. The owner is willing to hold a portion of the note, or financing. He was asking $750,000, I offered $700,000, if he could hold $300,000. I am looking at trying to find one or two investors for a total of $600,000 for the rest of the financing for my idea on this turnkey, turnaround operation.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I`m sure you know that the restaurant business is very risky.  Make sure your investors understand they could lose their money.  Your timeframe is probably very short, but another way to raise capital, at least some of what you need, is in my signature below.

Good luck,
Jim
