We have finally launched our teaser site!  This is the official announcement of the Zingerding to come.  Woohoo!

The main objectives of the teaser are to get people to sign up, get the word out and create some buzz.  We`ve still got a little tweaking to do here and there but it`s at the point where we wanted to launch.  Take a look and please let me know what you think.

Are you confused by anything?  Is it clear what this site is about?  Is it clear what the site will eventually be?  What bugs you and what zings you about it?

Hey - I already signed myself up to be Zinged before you even posted, I was so excited!

Speaking of which, when I was Zinging myself, somewhere in there ... it was "ZIng" instead of "Zing" ... I think, if I remember a few hours ago! I want to say it was after I clicked ZING.

You know, as one comment ... and as a bit of an embarrassment (for me!) ... I didn`t realize that "check it out" was a link the first 4 times I looked at the site. I kept thinking, that`s kind of a small picture ... wonder why there isn`t more to do here ... DOH!

And the whole blown up page being a link to the same email form is a little bit annoying. I kept wondering if the links were something else, but no ... all the same link to the same form.

But it looks so very cool and I can`t wait!

Very clever and well-designed. I like the Zing branding images and so forth.

Thanks Nikole!  I`ll look for the typo.

And on this second page that is more descriptive about the site, the whole image that makes up the page is a link to the sign-up form.  This was done as a way to get more people to the form to then hopefully sign up.  What does everyone else think about this?

Looks interesting but I must be missing something, every link takes me to a `sign-in` page, so I haven`t `seen` the site yet. I have a tendency to want to know what is it that I`m signing up for before I do. You may want to make some of the content available to non-members, it may get folks to register, folks that would otherwise abstain.

Stella, it`s good to see there are still people who value 2-dimensional life. Too many psychiatrists have been bad-mouthing flat affect, and I, for one, think it should be stopped. After all, fictional people have feelings too, right? :-)
