Hello Sunnies!  I`m very pleased to announce that my online ecommerce site is now open.  I would greatly appreciate it if you would visit www.YourSoothsayer.com and give me your opinions and any constructive comments regarding overall experience, ease of navigation, font sizes and styles, personality of the site, amount of product available, and any other information you`d like to share.  It is my thought that your input will show where we went right and where we might have missed something that is needed.  I would like you to also comment on shipping & return and our policies.

Thank you in advance for your efforts!

Two things for now.  First, I want to click on the horoscope symbols to get to my horoscope, not just the name of the sign.

And I wish there were more information about the books and CDs.  I would end up going to Amazon or somewhere else online to find out more.  And once I were on another e-store, you never know.  You might have lost that sale.  I know you just launched but I hope you are planning to expand that section.

Otherwise it looks pretty good.  I`m not into the metaphysical myself but it`s nice to see an escape from black and purple and nighttime skies.  I like the color scheme.

Viewed with IE6 on DSL connection.
Nice look to the site!  The lighter green text (the first paragraph) on the home page could be a little darker (or the same as the other text)... to make it easier to read.

A some little points:

The header image file is a little large at 84k... not bad on DSL or cable, but may be an issue for viewers on a dial-up connection.

The meta name tag you use <meta name="Your Soothsayer: A Metaphysical Shop for your Mind, Body and Spirit">  if that is for the "description for that page... should be <META NAME="description" CONTENT="Your Soothsayer: A Metaphysical Shop for your Mind, Body and Spirit">

You might also use some of your targeted keywords in your title.. different for each page.

Also...add alt tags to all images. It`s user freindly and an opportunity to even employ keywords.

The check out process was fine using PayPal.

The content on the home page was ok... for an ecommerce site, I sort of expect to see some product samples/images on the home page. It is a pleasant read... but no call to action. You might add links from some content to waht you offer. Online sessions? Couldn`t find them :-(

WOW!  Thank you so much for checking out the site already!  I will have Nikole look at the input from you and I think clicking on the symbols in addition to the names would be a great idea.  I am working on more info about the books & CDs, but that`s taking a bit of time because of other interruptions and I wanted to get launched already (Nikole is my second developer since I began this project).  I agree that the online sessions is difficult to find and will have that corrected quickly.

Thank you again Camp Steve and Webworld and all the rest of you Sunnies, your input would be appreciated too!

I also like the color scheme its nice and natural feeling. I would suggest changing the color of "Looking into your future" it`s kinda hard to read with the green fade on green background.

Also I don`t know what Rocks are or Runes are so some type of explanation or even something that kinda shows me how they`re used would help. I think might even help sales some because it could lead me to buying more products. Lets say I own Tarot Cards yoru content here could lead me into why I need rocks or runes and once I`m sold on that, you`ll have another sale. I thnk it`s a great site for starting up good luck. Just make sure to keep it fresh, everybody hates stale sites that never change.
