Hi Lisa,

Clicking on your link and landing on your site's homepage feels like I came to an inner page of a website. It took me a while to understand what the site is about and I was really trying. You need to create a homepage for your site that tells the visitor in seconds what the site is about.

What's the purpose of the site and what do you want the visitors to do? Create a call to action so the visitor know the next step after landing on your site.

I hope this helps,

- Yiana

Design, design, design. I can't stress it enough. A simple design is ok, Amazon has a simple design, but there needs to be something. People are very visual creatures. Attractive things entice them and visually we use images to guide us through stuff. If we see a bunch of text with a white page and a pink bar on the side our mind freaks out because there aren't any major things to identify what is supposed to be where or even what things are.

To explain that confusing paragraph better. Save up, a budget of around $1000 should get you a good design and system to run your website and about half of that cost for a design only. When starting a website you have to make sure that it is visually soothing. A large issue with this website is I can't find any way of profit. I don't see any advertisements anywhere. With a newly designed website and strategically placed ads in hot spots you will be creating a low but decent amount of money from your website.

Just keep working with your site and I'm sure you will really be able to turn it into something.
