Hey Folks

I've been part of the community a few years and I'm interested in what is our #1 funding pain.

So I threw up a question on Survey Monkey to capture all our responses (private or public) so I can give you all feedback on what everyone wrote.

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SHYVV9V

Should be helpful to know if we're all having the same challenges...

Thanks

Andrew

Should you not already know - you are the funding guru aren't you.  Why not just tell those on here what it is you are selling and see if they want to buy your goods.  Trying to get others to your site so that you can hard sell them - does not seem very transparent at all.

Not sure about the term "our" - if you are having funding pains - go to your bank.  I have no funding issues and don't think that other really care about YOU giving feedback on "our" issues.

Is that a market research you're doing?  Anyway, to answer your question -- one of my funding pains is having to talk to venture capitalists and feeling that we're coming up with a deal -- only that they have to change their minds, wanting last minute changes on the specs, after a few long hours of talk time.

Seventhman,

I agree that it's frustrating to have people change their mind. While the terms sometimes change during the due diligence phase of the process, if it's happening often - perhaps you should look at the typical VC engagement process and make sure you are fully prepared. (I call it being Capital Ready)
