Can anyone provide any guidance on writing a book and subsequently getting it published?  I was in the process of starting up a businss but have decided to go this route instead.  I have an idea that I believe will make a great book, I just don't know how to move forward with the process.

the writing of a book will be your effort, when done writing your book, the second part is publishing So there are so many online publishers available just simple make a search in search engine. search the publishers who deals in your region...best of luck

I agree with him. Just one question, you want to write the book yourself or hire somebody to write with your ideas.

If you are going to write the book yourself, it would be much simpler. you just finish the book and find a publisher. You can reach online publishers through searching on Google.

If you are going to hire somebody to write, you may find lots of answers on Google. Find a writer with good reputation and keep a contract unless he lets on your ideas. I think the part you keep it safe is the most important. Then when the book is finished, the process of finding a publisher is the same as above.
